Nipmuc Land Project
Food Distribution
All of the food we raise on the farm is distributed to community free of charge. While we grow our capacity we are primarily focusing on growing less labor intensive storage crops, this ensures we have the time we to distribute and be in the full work of the farm. In time, higher volumes and more variety will be available. Currently we distribute flint corn as cornmeal and hominy, multiple varieties of dry beans, pumpkins, sunchokes and whole chickens. Through donations from The Farm School we are periodically able to offer more meat options (beef, pork and sometimes goat) to families.

If you would like cornmeal, hominy, dry beans, or meat for a community event, educational opportunity etc... and we don't have a distribution scheduled, please reach out and we will do our best to supply you with what you need. We are also happy to share recipes or suggestions on how to prepare any of the foods we raise.
The renovation of space to build our on farm pick-up "store" is thanks to the Food Security Infrastructure Grant from MDAR.
